Overview

workbench is a miniature painting companion app. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Data Stored on Your Device

All of your paint inventory, model tracking, and wishlist data is stored locally on your device using SQLite. We do not have access to this data, and it never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to sync it in the future.

Analytics

We use PostHog for anonymous usage analytics to understand how people use the app and to improve the experience. This includes:

• Which screens are visited
• Feature usage (e.g., how often search is used)
• App version and device type

Analytics data is anonymous and does not include any personally identifiable information (PII). You can opt out of analytics in the app settings.

Error Reporting

We use Sentry to collect crash reports and error logs. These reports help us identify and fix bugs. They may include device type, OS version, and error stack traces, but do not contain personal data.

What We Do NOT Collect

• Personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Contacts or photos
• Financial or payment information
• Advertising identifiers

No Account Required

workbench works entirely without an account. There is no sign-up, login, or user authentication for the free tier. If we introduce optional cloud sync in the future, account creation will be entirely optional.
